My dear imaginary friends,
Time flies and you might have noticed that i took the pace down a little here. But there will be at least one update a week, so stick with me, come and play and explore. The journey is far from over.
Before we jump right into world six i thought i’ll let you know what i’ve been doing besides exploring my imaginary world. I created 36 masks for Nesterval. I wrote a short blog post about them a while ago and i still feel the same, you should really give it try if you have the chance to see a performance. Also there is a good chance that i will be in that performance too. I never thought that i would find my way back into performing but surprisingly i did and it is super fun. If you are interested in seeing more pictures of the masks (on people) and even pictures of me (kissing) go to their facebook page and have a peek. HERE.
Here are pictures of the mask mass and of me, in mask.
But now, let’s hurry into my imaginary wold, shall we?
I told you about Lima the Wau the last time, i hope you all remember her from the beginning. She is my beloved sidekick and what would Batman be without Robin? Yes, that’s us, almost. What i kept to myself the last times was, that Lima got lost. Sliding down a waterslide in world six, it seems she took a wrong turn and got lost in a wormhole. For me it felt like ages that she was gone but finally she returned and rumour has it that she went on a Timetravel. Yesterday an old picture of her arrived at my place. A real one, analog and all. Date on the back says that it is from 1986. !? Seeing the car next to her i started thinking if it is possible that Lima the Wau went time travelling with Marty McFly?
She also developed a new superpower while she was gone. She has wings now, hidden under her cape. Such an awesome sidekick. Squirrel Police Force will never catch me again with Lima the Wau watching out for me.
Aaaaand i told you a while ago that i’ll be placing wold six packs all over Vienna but then the weather acted crazy (well, only gray and rainy. which i love actually but it’s not good for my papery packs). But today weather was splendid and wold six invasion started.
I won’t point you in any directions because as my imaginary friends i would send you one to your home directly, like i told you. World six is growing and growing. Which is also kind of dangerous because now there are citizens on the loose with a world six tourist guide that says nothing about the wormholes in the waterslides. Be aware of that my friends!
Next there is something fancy coming up. A gallery opening in world six but i also still owe you my results from my nightly investigation (remember? at night my imaginary world is at it’s best) But all of this things will be up next.
Let’s end this post with a little poetry from a real explorer.
O Me! O Life!
By Walt Whitman
Oh me! Oh life! of the questions of these recurring, Of the endless trains of the faithless, of cities fill’d with the foolish, Of myself forever reproaching myself, (for who more foolish than I, and who more faithless?) Of eyes that vainly crave the light, of the objects mean, of the struggle ever renew’d, Of the poor results of all, of the plodding and sordid crowds I see around me, Of the empty and useless years of the rest, with the rest me intertwined, The question, O me! so sad, recurring—What good amid these, O me, O life? Answer. That you are here—that life exists and identity, That the powerful play goes on, and you may contribute a verse.*********************************And i almost forgot the music input! ABBA it is!!! Specially Chiquitita! Go and listen to that song. NOW! (The video awesome too!) and then keep on playing it in your head for the next weeks. Welcome to my world!
